Intro-Innovation in Design:

In terms of innovation ASI view a flexible letting strategy as paramount to a successful commercial building.

Its evolving design would then test differing uses from office, retail through to residential or even mixed-use with respect to Building Regulation requirements.

This may in the short-term result in such anomalies as additional stairwells for multi-occupancy buildings, but the short-term cost is often quickly outweighed by the flexibility in letting and multiple enquiries from potential end users.

Our design philosophy to commercial development differs little from our overall design philosophy: we take a contextual approach to most designs looking in the first instance at the site and surrounding area to create design starting points and references. Good design makes the difference when there is an over-supply of commercial stock in any given area. Meaningful design brings a corporate identity to its tenants or end users.
